It’s a great video that emphasizes the importance of choosing the right font for the design and then walks pretty seamlessly into promoting the inventory of Veer fonts.
The video itself is stylized to give one the feel of watching a classroom movie or filmstrip from the 60s or 70s. Using this style isn’t necessarily new, but I think this one was done very effectively.
We used a similar filmstrip style to promote the inventory of Capital Newspapers advertising opportunities in 2005. I’m going to try and convert that to video and post it here in the next few days. (My way of giving back to CN.)
