Here’s a really bad idea

Ford’s new S-Max car apparently scans the road for speed limit signs and then regulates the car to prevent it from going faster than the posted speed limit.

At first glance, I couldn’t believe that anyone would want to buy this vehicle. But then, I hoped in my car and drove around Seattle and realized that for many, it would actually make them go faster.

The last thing we need is a car that makes people in Seattle drive even slower than they do know. (Or, perhaps the last thing we need is a car that takes the control away from the driver and gives it to a machine.)

Perhaps they’ll develop a car that automatically scans the road and moves your car to the right lane when you’re driving in the left lane going slower than everyone. I’d help promote that car for free.
